Sunflower Philly is a community-based, nonprofit organization focused on providing access to art, music & sustainable resources through a curated series of events and programs in North Philadelphia. Currently based out of beautiful 11,000 sqft outdoor park, the space features murals, graffiti art, a performance stage made from refurbished/sustainable material and is anchored by a large garden featuring sunflower and other native plants. The goal of the organization is to be a resource for the community and grow its educational program to connect with Temple University, local high schools and after-school programming.
LS&A was instrumental in Sunflower Philly in getting our 501c3 non-profit status. Their guidance allowed us to narrow our mission and vision for the organization primarily the formation of a community advisory board and also what our direct contribution to the community would be.
