Professional Experience

Beth is an Associate at Laura Solomon & Associates, where she advises nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations on all aspects of their activities, including formation, tax-exempt status, board governance, federal and state laws and regulatory compliance, mergers, affiliations, and charitable solicitation registration compliance.  Beth has extensive experience working with a wide range of charitable organizations, including grassroots, environmental, and educational groups.

Beth previously practiced law with LS&A as its first Associate and returned after several years with the City of Philadelphia’s Community Schools Program. At PCSP, Beth worked as the Community Schools Coordinator in a K-8 public school in South Philadelphia, coordinating community partners and working with staff from various City agencies and departments to provide programming for students, families, and community members. She also served as the Health Projects Coordinator at Children First, a child advocacy organization serving children and families in the Greater Philadelphia Region. During her time at Children First, Beth facilitated the Delaware County Lead Poisoning Prevention Coalition and managed Give Kids a Smile Week and Give Kids Sight Day, annual events that provided free vision and dental care to uninsured and under-insured children in the region.

Earlier in her career Beth worked for Temple University as Director of Planned Giving for the Beasley School of Law and as a legal advisor to the University’s Office of Institutional Advancement.  She was also an Associate at Wolf Block and at Feldman & Feldman, where her practice was focused on trust and estates law.

Education and Licenses

Beth received her B.A. degree from New York University in 1989. She holds a J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
