Professional Experience

Yuha Jung is an associate attorney with Laura Solomon & Associates, where she advises nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations on legal and regulatory matters. Her practice focuses on governance, compliance, and operational issues affecting nonprofit and cultural organizations and philanthropic individuals.

Yuha brings interdisciplinary experience spanning legal practice, nonprofit management, and higher education, with a particular emphasis on arts and cultural organizations. Her work integrates legal analysis with a deep understanding of institutional operations, governance, and the regulatory environment facing nonprofit and cultural entities.

Prior to joining the firm, Yuha practiced as a self-employed attorney in Kentucky, advising nonprofit organizations, cultural institutions, and individual practitioners. Before transitioning fully into legal practice, she spent more than a decade as a Professor of Arts Administration at the University of Kentucky. Her teaching and scholarship focused on legal and policy issues affecting arts and cultural organizations, including nonprofit law, governance, and cultural policy.

 

Education and Licenses

Yuha earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky. She holds a Ph.D. in Art Education from Pennsylvania State University, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia, a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Korea. She is bilingual in Korean and English.

Yuha is admitted to practice law in Kentucky and California and is currently seeking admission in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York.
