Our Mission
The Frankford Community Development Corporation is dedicated to the asset-based development of Lower Northeast Philadelphia through job creation, affordable and workforce housing development, and the creative and sustainable improvement of public space. Current programs and projects include: commercial corridor management, supportive housing services, workforce development, Reimagining Margaret-Orthodox, and Gillingham Court.Reimagining Margaret-Orthodox (pictured) is the Frankford CDC's five-year development strategy to transform the Frankford Avenue Corridor area around Arrott Transportation Center. This includes the Daral Building renovation, the creation of Frankford Pause Park, a facade improvement for Frankford Beverage Distributor, and the redevelopment of the vacant properties at 4663 and 4665 Paul Street to create new commercial spaces and eight units of affordable housing.
